About This Website

Some of what you’ll read on this site might be entirely fabricated, some of it might be extremely embellished and some of it might be depressingly true. Whatever you take from it, I hope you’ll see that the world is out there for the taking.

This site has been a long time in the making. Having purchased the domain in early 2010, it was first used as a place to profile my magazine writing and other creative pursuits.

Now my goal is to turn it into one of the biggest independently-voiced travel sites on the net.

My travel niche is that of the slow, continuous type.

Much like I like my sexual partners.

When I can find them.

About My Style and Philosophy

I started out travelling and writing seriously while living in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. There a magazine took pity on me and allowed me to run my potty mouth and crazy experiments between their monthly covers on a regular basis. That was back in 2009. In 2012 I began to take the pursuit of being a travel writer seriously (or not seriously as the case may be) and that’s when the current site you’re reading came into existence.

My travel philosophy is pretty simple. I can’t beat experts on history, book writers on practical advice or loose girls on perspective. Therefore I won’t bother. Instead I’ll just focus on keeping it as “real” as I can. And blow as deep as I want to blow.

My style is crafted on what I think would be fun to read. That’s it.
